David DeWitt Obituary
David was born on August 12, 1952, the son of Norma Jean DeWitt and the late Paul Gene DeWitt.
David was a very hard worker and proud to be a welder in the Local Union 152. He enjoyed spending time and talking with friends and family. He would help those in need and take children in during hardships. When David wasn't working or visiting with friends and family, he would spend his free time watching movies.
In addition to his mother David is survived by his son, Joseph DeWitt and his wife Beverly; grandsons, Aiden DeWitt; Ian DeWitt; and Tyler Hunneycutt; sister, Donna DeWitt; Troy Stout who he considered a son and Troy's daughter Addison.
In addition to his father, David is preceded in death by his wife, Judy DeWitt; son, Justin DeWitt; brother, Douglas DeWitt; and grandmother Hazel Pyecha.
Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, WV 26505 on Sunday, July 28, from 2:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 4:00 pm with Pastor Lawrence Rebelo officiating.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Hastings Funeral Home.
