It isn't my first memory of him, but I will never forget getting off the airplane and seeing Dave trying to hide behind his friend.. it was like a (overly shy) grizzly trying to hide behind a twig.. I fell in love with his gentle heart.. enough to cross the globe.. and that memory still makes me smile..
