David Michael Diehl, age 64, of Clinton, Missouri, passed away on August 24, 2025.
David was born on January 15, 1961, to Charles and Jo Diehl. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
On Valentine's Day, February 14, 1981, David married the love of his life, Rhonda Stromberg. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and family.
He spent many years working at Diehl Tire, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. He also had a gift for woodworking-his craftsmanship, creativity, and attention to detail shone through in everything he built.
David loved spending time at "The Land", always fixing and working on whatever needed to be done. Many of his happiest moments were spent there with friends, enjoying games of poker and horseshoes.
Above all, David loved his family. His greatest joy came from being "Papa" to his grandchildren, cheering them on at their sporting events, and celebrating all of their academic achievements. His steady presence, encouragement, and pride in their lives will never be forgotten.
He is survived by his children: Cassie (Jake) Lofting and their children Mea, Abram, and Ella; Jenni (Kiel) Huffman and their children Charlie and Warren; and Kayla (Cody) Woirhaye and their children Lydia, Harley, and Clark. He is also survived by his sister, Karen Diehl, and brother Tom (Martha) Diehl; his friend Denise West and many nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Jo Diehl; his in laws, Martin and Betty Stromberg; and his beloved wife, Rhonda Diehl. He is now joyfully reunited with Rhonda in Heaven. He will be remembered for his love of "The Land", his laughter around a poker table, his woodworking talents, and the deep love he had for his family.
