Linda Louise Diehl, age 86, of Dormont, PA, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2025 surrounded by family.
Born on December 28, 1938, in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Vivian and Dexter Ison.
Linda was the loving mother of Vickie Rush and Kimberly Diehl, and the late Donna Diehl. She was the cherished sister of Sharon McRickard, MaryKay Bender, Terry Ison, and the late Darlene Honeygosky. She will be deeply missed by her ten grandchildren: Donnie, Tonya, Kayla, Jade, Charlie, Dustin, James, Samantha, Devon, and Kayci, as well as by her many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Linda had a true love for life's simple joys. She found happiness in movies, music, and flowers, and especially enjoyed watching hummingbirds and feeding the squirrels and deer. An Elvis Presley fan at heart, she also cherished her soap operas, Christmas celebrations, and family holidays. Known for her love of the color purple, 100 Grand bars, and dark chocolate, she created countless memories with her family by teaching her grandchildren how to play bingo and board games. Above all, Linda's greatest joy was her family, whom she loved dearly.
Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 5405 Steubenville Pike, Robinson Township, PA 15136, where a blessing service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Entombment will take place following the service at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 2900 Washington Rd, Canonsburg, PA 15317.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Linda's name to Animal Friends.
Linda's warmth, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
