David R. DiMascio, 81, passed away Monday, November 10, 2025, at Mercy Medical Center from complications due to Agent Orange exposure during the Vietnam War.
David was born November 26, 1943, to Anthony and Adele (Gothot) DiMascio in Akron. He was a 1961 graduate of Hower High School. He enlisted in the US Air Force, served during the Vietnam War and retired in 1986 with the rank of Staff Sergeant.
He is survived by his brother Paul and Paul's wife Sandy, nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
A Celebration of David's Life will be held Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Anthony Funeral Home, 1990 S. Main St., Akron OH 44301 at 12:00 PM (Noon). Friends may call from 11:00 am until the service. Interment will take place in the spring at Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery.
