David John Duch age 70 of Cheboygan passed away at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey on February 5, 2025.
Born in Cheboygan on July 14, 1954 to Frank and Helyn (Fairman) Duch.
He is survived by his brother, Jeff (Susan) Duch of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin; sister-in-law, Kim Duch of Cheboygan; nieces and nephews, Jeffery Duch, Joseph Duch, John (Jen) Duch, Amber (Wendell) Smith, Arin (Dane) Ostroske and Alli (Tom) Schumacher; great nephew and great nieces, Conner Duch, Calie Duch, and Kami Smith; and a great "Circle of Friends" Roger Neuman, Mike Spray, Jay Falkenberg, Bill Levaque, and many others.
Dave attended college earning a degree in Forestry. He loved working in the earth, gardening, rock hunting and anything that kept him out in nature. Dave was a laid back guy with a Heart of Gold and will be missed by all who knew him.
No plans for a memorial at this time.
Any memorial contributions can be made to the Cheboygan Humane Society in Dave's name.
