David A. Dusing

David A. Dusing, 67, of Augusta, Kentucky, passed away on July 25, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, Kentucky.



David was born on December 4, 1955 in Cynthiana, Kentucky to his parents Larry A. Dusing and the late LaVerne (nee Martin) Dusing. He previously worked as a carpenter and served in the United States Army and Navy.



In addition to his father, he leaves behind his step-mother, Marianne Dusing; two sons, Robert A. Dusing (Stephanie) and Matthew Q. Dusing (Kelly); two daughters, Alicia R. Melton (Chris) and Gwendolyn T. Cunningham (Eric); two brothers, Phillip H. Dusing and Mark A. Dusing (Jennifer); three sisters, Loretta Smith (Joe), Kathy Goecke (Jake), Judy Gibson (Roy); his grandchildren, Ryker Dusing, Vincent Dusing, and Clara Dusing; and his brother-in-law, Tom Shively.



In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Jo Shively.



A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Metcalfe-Hennessey Funeral Home in Augusta.



Interment will follow in the Lenoxburg Cemetery in Lenoxburg, Kentucky.



Visitation will also be on Tuesday at the funeral home from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
