David M. Duso
Bay City, Michigan
Our very much-loved brother, uncle, and friend to all who met him passed away in the early morning hours of Sunday, September 5, 2021, after a courageous fight with pancreatic cancer. He was 62.
Dave was born October 2, 1958, to Donald (Bud) and Barbara (Ridley) Duso. He was a 1976 graduate of Bay City Central High School, and he served in the Marine Corps from 1977-1980. He worked and retired from Bay Medical Care Facility, after 31+ years. He truly cared for his residents and the staff he worked with. He had a quick wit and didn't hesitate to use it to brighten your day.
He loved the outdoors, camping, hiking and target shooting. He was also a movie and TV aficionado and could quote whole scenes at the drop of the hat.
He is survived by his sister Kim Snyder, nieces Ashley (Brett) Brissette, Amy (James) Russell, as well as their children, many good friends and his feline companion Pollyanna. Dave was predeceased by his parents Donald and Barbara, grandparents Edward and Anne Duso, Eva Fenwick, Hortense Soper and his brother-in-law Ric Snyder.
As Dave requested, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held on his birthday, October 2, 2021, at 6:00p.m. at Amvets Post 22, 520 N. Pine Rd, Bay City, MI 48708. Military honors, under the Bay County Veterans Color Guard and US Marine Corps, will be held. Private interment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery. I got the chance to meet Dave while taking care of his mother. He's an amazing person and ill miss him being witty. Pray and thoughts to Dave's family.

This wonderful man helped me get through a hard time in my life with his wonderful words of wisdom. I haven´t kept in touch and wish I had. You never know what tomorrow will bring. Rest peacefully Dave and know you were very special to me.

I am so sorry for your loss. We are shirt tale relatives. I remember Eddy and Anne from my grandparents kitchen table playing poker. My Grandparents were Clarence and Irma Duso. Prayers for your family.
