Tina McTaggart Obituary

Published by Legacy on Aug. 14, 2025.
Tina Marie McTaggart, age 62 years, passed away peacefully at her residence in the early morning hours of Monday, August 11, 2025. She was born on November 24, 1962 in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Burton "Buck" and Maxine (Johnson) McCrumb. Tina grew up in Vassar and went to Vassar High School.

Surviving family include her husband of 43 years, Kelly McTaggart; children, Tiffany (Dustin), Danielle and Nathan (Jess); grandchildren, Blake, Trenton and Aayliah; a sister, Candy (Vince) as well as nieces, a nephew, her cat Peanut and many friends. Tina was preceded in death by both her parents; mother, Maxine Johnson (Leonard) & father, Burton "Buck" McCrumb (Lenora); both in-laws, Hersey & Shirley McTaggart; brother, Dan McCrumb; Aunt Mae; Uncle David and her grandparents.

Tina was fun loving, caring, giving & always willing to lend a hand to anyone – even if she did not know you. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids – they were her world! Tina enjoyed BINGO, traveling, collecting coffee cups from various states (which she never used), going to concerts and listening to county music. She also loved playing cards with her in-laws, watching all sports (Redwings, Lions & Tigers were her teams), grilling and making the BEST banana bread.

Until we meet again

We think about you always.

We talk about you still.

You have never been forgotten,

And you never will.

We hold you close within our hearts,

And there you will remain.

To walk and guide us through our lives,

Until we meet again.

ALWAYS IN OUR HEARTS
