Dr. David Henry Epstein, age 86, of Jasper, Georgia, passed away Monday, January 12, 2026 at The Lodge at Stephens Lake. He was born August 10, 1939 to Edward Epstein and Ethel Wilson Epstein in New Foundland, Canada.
David was a Sigma Chi at University of Western Ontario where he got his Doctor of Medicine and went on to serve as a physician in Wimby, Ontario for many years. He was deeply loved and respected by his patients, who valued his compassion, dedication, and care.
David is survived by his wife of 45 years, Pamela Etchberger Epstein of Jasper; sister, Helen Ghent of Sudburry, Northern Ontario; son John Epstein of Oshawa, Ontario Canada; daughter Robin Epstein Kosteczko of Oshawa, Ontario Canada; and several nieces, nephews and other family members also survive.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.

David was a good man and wonderful husband to our friend, Pam. He was so proud to became a United States citizen. We enjoyed visiting them in Canada and Georgia, and Linda will always remember the European trip she took with them. Linda and Rick Burn
