I love and miss you, Dad

So much to try to add to the dash between the date of your birth and the date I lost you.. so many memories. So much of who you were. And there would never be enough time or space. But I remember. And will never forget you. I love you Dad. And you will be with me in my heart always. Thank you for every day. For taking care of me when I needed you. For all the lessons.. good and bad. For the fishing trips, the road sodies, the talks, the hugs, the laughs and the many times we said nothing, but sat and fished. Just father and son. I truly pray you are at peace. And that you will still check in on me when I need my dad. And whenever I hit the water, I pray you ride with me. I love you. And miss you, old man.

I love you, Dad. And miss you more than you will ever know already. Wishing we were fishing.
