David B. Evink, age 73, of Hamilton, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025.
David was born in Holland, Michigan on November 7, 1951. He attended Holland Public Schools. Dave retired after a dedicated 34 year career at Hart & Cooley. His true hobby in life was restoring classic cars. Dave also loved the outdoors and going hunting. He faithfully and honorably served his country in the United States Army. David was the "All American Dad". He loved his family dearly. He married the love of his life, Eva Evink, and they enjoyed 53 wonderful years of marriage. Eva and Dave were always there for each other. He was a reserved man with a great sense of humor and easy smile. He also was known for his solid work ethic which he passed on to his children.
David is survived by his loving wife, Eva Evink; children, Sheila Evink, Scott Evink; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; siblings, Nancy Russ, of Walker, Michigan, and Robert Evink of Holland.
The family will receive visitors on Monday, April 14, from 12:00pm to 12:45pm, at the Dykstra Funeral Home - Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street, Holland. A funeral ceremony will be held following visitation at 1:00pm at Mulder Chapel. Reverend Mark Waterstone presiding. The United States Army Honor Guard and the V.F.W. Post 2144 will bestow military honors.
Professional service entrusted to the Mulder Chapel.

It is with great sadness to hear of David"s passing. He and I were in Gieb together 53 years ago and he talked of everyone back home ad all the things he liked. He was one of the best. My name is Rick Terven and David was a true friend . Our deepest condolences to his wife Eva and family
