Publish in a newspaper

Dr. David M. Faber, age 57, died suddenly on November 14, 2022. The New York native was a renowned general and vascular surgeon in Kentucky for over 20 years, most recently at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon, Kentucky.

David, above life itself, loved his daughters Lauren and Alyssa. He enjoyed spending time with them, including taking them to volleyball and music practices or assisting with their homework.

Dr. Faber saved many lives throughout his career, including diagnosing his brother, Jon, with cancer when other physicians had failed.

He is survived by his daughters, Lauren and Alyssa, his mother, Karen Faber, and his brother and sister-in-law, Jonathan and Stacey Faber.

Gravesides will be held on Thursday, November 17 at 11:30 a.m in Keneseth Israel Cemetery, 2800 block of Preston Highway, Louisville.

I worked with David as a fellow surgeon at Muhlenburg Community Hospital. I considered David a friend and a very competent physician and surgeon. We felt a loss in our community when he moved. Nothing but respect for him. We are very moved and saddened on hearing of his death.Good by my friend.

I worked alongside David during his residency at University of Louisville Hospital in the 90s. We shared a lot of victories over trauma and disease together. It hurts me to know he's gone. Dave was a good man. If you can see this Dave I'll forever remember us hanging out in the doctor's lounge pilfering the bagels brother. Go with God. I'll see you again.

David and I had some wonderful times together. Lunches and dinners always found us. We never shied away, lol! We would sit and sing to the top of our lungs any of our favorite music from the 60´s and 70´s. I´ll miss his humor and his refreshing intellect. David was a dear friend that I loved like a brother. I´ll miss him as long as I live. Ron May
