David Michael Freiermuth II

May the Valkyries welcome you and lead you thru Odin's great battlefield. May they sing your name with love and fury, so that we might hear it rise from the depths of Valhalla and know that you've taken your rightful place at the table of kings. For a great man has fallen: A warrior. A father. A friend.
It is with great love and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved David Michael Freiermuth II. David was born on October 18, 1991, in New Haven, CT to his parents, Kevin and Ruth Freiermuth.
To know David was to know laughter. He was the life of every room, always ready with a joke, a story, or a smile that could brighten anyone's day. His humor, warmth, and generosity left a lasting mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Family was everything to David-whether by blood or by bond. He believed that love, loyalty, and time made a family, often quoting one of his favorite movie lines: "Ohana means family." If you were part of David's world, you were family to him.
David is survived by the love of his life, Nikita Polyak, and their son Rowan; his parents Kevin and Ruth Freiermuth; his brother Bryan Freiermuth and Bryan's daughter Eleanor; his sister Keri Roozitalab; and Peter Freiermuth who he considered a brother;as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
David's laughter, love, and light will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him
