David "Mark" Gibreal, age 63, of Branson, Missouri, passed away August 11, 2025. He entered this life December 14, 1961, the son of David and Marjorie (Thompson) Gibreal.

Mark had a gift for gab and never met a stranger. He enjoyed his Koi pond and his many plants and flowers. He was a fan of his Kansas City Chiefs and Royals but above all, Mark was forever a Nebraska Cornhusker fan! Mark enjoyed listening to rock music and attended several concerts in the area. He grew up in Fort Calhoun, Nebraska, but moved to Tarkio Missouri and graduated from Tarkio High School in 1980. He also attended Northwest Missouri State at Marysville.

The memories and moments created over the years will be treasured by all who knew him.

Mark is survived by his sisters, Teresa Gibreal and spouse, Jean Bean of Atlanta, Georgia; brother, Steve Thompson of Wauneta, Nebraska; niece, Kristy Thompson of Longmont, Colorado; nephew, Leslie Thompson of Lawrence, Kansas; as well as cousins Linda and Rob Barrett and family, Steve Gibreal, Teresa Salmond and family, Leisa Biermann and family, Mike Wennihan and Matt Wennihan.

He is preceded in death by his parents: David and Marjorie (Thompson) Gibreal of Fort Calhoun, Nebraska.

The family would like to thank the many caregivers from Phoenix Home Health especially Sherry.

A private gathering will be held at a later date. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks. To leave an online condolence or share a memory, please visit www.cremationsoftheozarks.com.
