David Eugene Green, a beloved member of the Glasgow community, passed away on February 21, 2026, at TJ Samson Community Hospital. Born on March 18, 1966, in Glasgow, Kentucky, David touched the lives of many with his unwavering dedication to his work and his passion for the outdoors.
David led a life characterized by hard work and craftsmanship, thriving as both a farmer and a welder. His skilled hands were often busy rolling hay and bushhogging, activities that brought him great joy.
He is survived by his sister, Shirley Green, who cherished their shared memories. Additionally, he leaves behind cousins Bryant Green (Sonya), Ronnie Green (Betty), and Tommy Green (Brittany), as well as nieces Lillie Green, Quincy Green, and Emmie Green and nieces and nephews by heart, Bryana Russell, Lucas Green, Matthew Green, Bennett Green, Ethan Borton, Emma Ford, Hope Green, Hunter Green, Hayden Green, Harper Green. The love and support of family were integral to David's life, providing a steadfast foundation that he greatly valued.
David was preceded him in death by his parents, Eugene Green and Rebecca Green,
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, February 26th, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, with burial in the Henderson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, and Thursday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.
The legacy of David Eugene Green will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His passion, dedication, and love for family and the land will not be forgotten.
