David Gulick Obituary

The visitation will be held at Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial, 646 Springfield Ave., Berkeley Heights, NJ on Sunday, January 12th, from 2 – 5:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Church of the Little Flower, 310 Plainfield Avenue, Berkeley Heights, NJ on Monday, January 13th at 10:00 am followed by entombment at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge.
David was born in Plainfield, NJ to Betsy (nee Robosky) and David H. Gulick, Sr. He was a proud member of the International Longshoremen Association (ILA) for 20 years at the Elizabeth NJ Seaport. The longshore men and women he worked with were his second family.
David is survived by his parents, David H. and Betsy Gulick; brother Brian Gulick; Uncle John and Aunt Rose Robosky, Aunt Man Wilson, Aunt Margie and Uncle Doc Hons, Aunt Linda and Uncle Ronnie Grossmith, Aunt Donna Miller, Aunt Helen Horton, Aunt Shirley Benninger and Uncle Carl Gulick. He is also survived by many loving cousins, friends and his furry pals.

Just found out what had happened to a great person and a great
friend. I'm totally lost for words to
describe my feelings. He will be missed by his fellow family at

My husband met David when he was out in the yard one fine sunny day, and, traditionally my husband advises ´newbies´ on how to manage weeds. So, he advised David on how best to take care of the weeds in his yard; gave him some of his `special´ organic weed killer, etc. And, David generously reciprocated with a bottle of wine and some cigars (which we still have to this day).
