In Loving Memory
David Earl Gustin
Our beloved husband, father, grandpa, and great-grandpa passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025 at the age of 77. Though he grew up in Salt Lake City, his heart always belonged to Fairview, a place he proudly called home.
He spent over 50 years working as a dedicated and skilled concrete finisher, known for his hard work and craftsmanship. His strong work ethic was only matched by his deep love for family and the simple joys of life.
He cherished the annual Tucker family reunions and made countless memories that will live on in the hearts of those who attended. Whether it was enjoying a cold beer on the patio, listening to Ray Price, or cheering on his favorite team—the Green Bay Packers—he found happiness in life’s little moments.
An avid outdoorsman, he found joy in deer hunting, fishing, cruising and spontaneous trips to Wendover. He was never without a warm smile and had a natural ability to make everyone feel welcome and at ease. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and love to all who knew him.
Of all the things he treasured, nothing brought him more joy than visiting with his kids and grandkids. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched with kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jackie; two daughters, Mickelle (Andrew) Byers and Channelle (Tyrel) Haslem; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sisters Gayle (Robert) Campbell, Mary Kay (Randy) Reese.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and UnaLee Gustin.
He will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever loved.
Graveside services will be held at Fairview City Cemetery on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. Friends and family may pay their respects beginning at 11:30 a.m., prior to the service.
