David Michael Habel, born in 1961 in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away in 2025. He is survived by his devoted wife, Victoria, and their beloved children, Zachary Habel and Katherine Habel. He was a proud grandfather to three grandchildren: Cyrus, Ellie, and Owen. He is also survived by his sister, Barbara Rainbow of Paoli, PA, and her daughters, Anna, Olivia, and Lila, as well as his cousin, Pam Swarat of Florida.
Dave grew up in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. He met his future wife, Victoria, in 9th grade, and they attended junior prom together in 11th grade. He went on to attend Penn State University and later graduated from Rett's Electronic School.
Dave and Victoria were married in 1984 and made their home in Malvern, PA, close to his parents, Louis and Dorothy Habel, and her parents, Miers and Imogene Johnson. Over the years, Dave and Vicky built a life together full of family, hard work, and adventure. They later moved to Willow Grove, where Dave ran a car stereo business and a pager company before attending Dent School. He eventually became a Dent Wizard technician, serving Montgomery County for many years.
In 2011, Dave and Victoria moved to Vero Beach, Florida. Despite facing ongoing heart disease, Dave remained active and deeply engaged with life. He loved fishing and took great pride in caring for his boat. He was also passionate about Bronco trucks, spending many hours restoring and maintaining them. A true craftsman, Dave was constantly working on projects around the house. He was always quick to lend a hand-or simply step in and do the job himself-whenever someone needed help.
Dave was deeply loved by his family and friends. He will be remembered for his generosity, his incredible skill and handiwork, and his unwavering willingness to help others. He will be greatly missed.
Victoria is surrounded by a strong network of support, including her sister, Cindy Johnson Kahl, who lives nearby in Vero Beach, as well as many dear friends.
