David Ray Hahn, 59, of Evansville, passed away at 10:25 AM on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at his home surrounded by family. David was born on September 13, 1965, in Evansville to the late Raymond D. and Gwendolyn (Oglesby) Hahn. He worked in gas construction for Center Point Energy before retiring. David enjoyed spending time at the family river camp, working in his garage with family and friends, gardening, tractor pulls, racing and three wheelers. Surviving David are his wife of 38 years, Regina (Mayer) Hahn; his children, Derrick (Lauran) Hahn and Tara (Kyle) Hassler; a sister, Tanya (Mike) Fritts and his grandchildren, Reese Hassler, Ruby Hassler, Heidi Hahn and Chett David Hahn who David made sure he was here to meet before he passed. Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 until 7:00 PM on Friday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street, where there will be a memorial service held at 6:00 PM, Rev. Luke Hassler officiating. The family extends a special thank you to Heart to Heart Hospice, Dr. Sara Tariq, the staff of St. Vincent Oncology and all of the family and friends who supported them and David throughout their journey. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Condolences may be made online at www.pierrefuneralhome.com.
