David Henry Harrison, of McCool, MS 68, died Wednesday April 16, 2025, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Visitation will be held at Lake Washington Baptist Church in Glenn Alan, Mississippi from 12:00- 2:00 with funeral service immediately following Friday, April 18. 2025. A graveside service will follow in the County Line Community Cemetery. David was born on June 28, 1956, in Vicksburg, Mississippi. The son of the late Ernest and Ann Harrison. He retired from Sun South John Deere at the age of 62.
David had a love for the outdoors and hunting. He could often be found taking trips to bear hunt. He also loved deer hunting. Those that know him well know that you can find exhibits of his love for hunting and fishing in his home. David spent his entire life having a love for racing. This includes NHRA, Nascar, and dirt drag racing. His favorite Nascar racer was Dale Earnhardt and this was displayed all over his house. David would spend countless hours tinkering with any type of mechanic. Even with all the love he has for these activities he never missed an opportunity to take his family on vacation or spend time with his dearest friends. As we all know "The hell you say."
He is survived by his children, Jeanna Owens, (Boo) David Henry Harrison, Jr. and his spouse (Shannon) and Christy Trejo; grandchildren, Pearson Owens, Aniston Harrison, Hailey Kirkland, Kooper Herrington, Nacole Rivera, Mackenzie Trejo, Morgan Trejo; great grandchild, Millie Kate Owens; brother, Joseph Harrison, Nancy Jones (Joe), John Harrison (Barbara), Allie Barr (Buddy), Mark Harrison (Paula), Mary Ann Guimbellot (Allen), Andrew Harrison (Monique) Paul Harrison.
