David Harrison of Conroe, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the age of 81, following a lengthy illness. Up until the end, David maintained his positive outlook and expressed gratitude for his wife and family.

David was born on May 5, 1944, to parents Vernon and Claire Harrison in Port Aransas, Texas. He leaves behind his wife of 40 years, Becky (Shannon) Harrison. He is survived by his stepchildren, Captain Wendy (Carsey) Lea, Darla (Carsey) McGahee and husband Chris, David Carsey, and Allison Carsey; as well as seven grandchildren: Kirsten Swanson, Ren Swanson, Kyle McGahee, Conner McGahee, Graceanne Carsey, Ella Carsey, and Caroline Carsey; and many lifelong friends. David is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Vivian Harrison, Becky (Harrison) Dukarm, Billy John Harrison, Milton Harrison, and Paul Harrison.

Born and raised in Texas, David was proud of his Texas heritage and lived with his family in several Texas cities including Midland, Anahuac and Baytown. After graduating from high school in 1963, David attended Texas A&M University where he was a proud member of the Corps of Cadets. He was also proud to serve his country as a member of the US Coast Guard for four years of Active Duty followed by two years in the Reserves.

In 1984, David founded his own company, Infinite Systems, an SAS firm which specialized in revenue cycle management and inventory management systems for dental, medical, auto, and manufacturing clients as well as logistics systems for clients in the aircraft industry. David had a passion for computer programming, which was also his favorite hobby. He took great pride in his business and in serving clients locally, nationally, and internationally.

David's business ventures gave him the opportunity to travel far and wide, including to his favorite destination country of Panama. David was known for his hearty laugh, a big smile, his abounding optimism, and his unique euphemisms. He loved attending sporting events, recitals, musicals and plays performed by his grandchildren. His faith in God was a primary focus of his life and he enjoyed attending men's group bible studies and supporting others on their spiritual journey.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Methodist Hospital - The Woodlands, in particular, Michelle Cunningham, M.D. and Anthony Stock, N.P., for taking exceptional care of David for the last several years.
