Beverly Harrison Obituary

Beverly Ann Harrison, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on November 14, 2025, in Midlothian, Texas at 88 years old. Born on October 18, 1937, in Trinidad, Texas, to Augustus Charles (A.C.) and Ameta Bentley, Beverly's life was marked by grace, strength, talent, and an unwavering love for her family and her faith.

From childhood, Beverly radiated a natural charm and an artistic spirit. She grew up singing, dancing, and performing around Trinidad, always dressed stylishly-often in the beautiful clothes lovingly sewn by her mother. After her father's passing, Beverly and her mother moved to Tyler, TX, where she later continued her education at Tyler Community College. As a proud TCC Apache Belle, she even earned the honor of dancing in the Macy's Day Parade.

Beverly's life changed forever when she met Vernon "Sonny" Frank while he was serving in the Aggie Corp of Cadets at Texas A&M. Their love blossomed quickly, and she often reminisced fondly about their time together, attending events like the Ring Dance and navigating the early years of marriage and military life. Together, Beverly and Sonny welcomed two children, Kevin and Kimberly, and eventually settled in Spring Branch in Houston, Texas.

Beverly earned her bachelor's degree in English from the University of Houston and went on to teach at Klein High School. Her love of literature was lifelong-she could often be found with a book nearby or working thoughtfully through a crossword puzzle in the evenings.

After Sonny's passing at the age of 42, Beverly courageously reinvented her career, becoming a paralegal and ultimately joining the legal department at Shell Oil Company. It was there she met the second great love of her life, Robert "Bob" Harrison. Their marriage spanned more than thirty joyful years, filled with companionship and a shared devotion to faith and family. Beverly's years singing in the choir at Houston's First Baptist Church were especially dear to her heart.

In retirement, Beverly and Bob moved to Sun City Georgetown, where they built a rich social life and traveled the world together. Beverly treasured every moment spent with her expanding family-hosting beautiful gatherings, celebrating milestones, and showering her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with love. After Bob's death, Beverly moved to Midlothian, TX to be closer to her daughter and while at her independent living facility she could commonly be found line dancing at the happy hours and playing bridge, both of which were lifetime hobbies of hers.

Above all, Beverly's life was defined by her steadfast Christian faith. It guided her through seasons of joy and sorrow, and it remains a source of deep comfort to her family as they grieve her loss. They rejoice knowing that she is now at peace, reunited with loved ones, and in the presence of her Lord and Savior.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, A.C. and Ameta Bentley, siblings Charles Bentley and Billie Shocker, and husbands Vernon Frank Jr. and Robert "Bob" Harrison.

She is survived by her cherished children, Kevin Frank (Brenda) and Kimberly Gullett (Scott); her grandchildren Hailey Soto, Lauren Hoops (Matthew), McKenzie Dubbyreddi (Harish), and Taylor Anderson (Nathan); and her great-grandchildren Vivian Soto, Marshall Hoops, Sonny Anderson, Devi Dubbyreddi, Walker Hoops, Riley Anderson, and Bodhi Dubbyreddi.
