Kathy Marie Harris, born February 11, 1950, in Baytown, Texas, was a beacon of compassion and generosity throughout her life. Known for her radiant smile and the loving twinkle in her eyes, Kathy was the epitome of kindness and touched countless lives with her thoughtfulness. She was a steadfast rock in her family, a beloved member of her community, and an angel to her cherished pets. Kathy had a unique way of making everyone around her feel loved and appreciated, and her legacy of love will continue to inspire all who knew her.
A dedicated teacher and coach, Kathy had a profound impact on the lives of her students. In her retirement, Kathy found joy in gardening and volunteering, her generous spirit shining through in every endeavor. She was deeply involved in her church, singing in the choir, working with children, and sending heartfelt cards to those in need of comfort and encouragement. Kathy lived out the words of Isaiah 40:31, renewing her strength in the Lord and displaying the resilience of an eagle in all she did.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband of fifty years, William Harris, her treasured children Mollie (Jeffrey) Harris and Raymond (Becky) Harris, and her cherished grandson, William Harris. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Inez Barclay, and her sister, Vickie Barclay.
