It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Chelsea Spillers, a compassionate, loving, smart, and thoughtful woman, on October 18, 2025. Born on June 8, 1992, in Duncanville, TX, Chelsea was a beacon of light in all our lives, radiating joy, kindness, and an unwavering love for her family.
Chelsea was not just a High School Teacher; she was a mentor, a role model, and a guiding light to countless students whom she taught throughout her five-year career in Education. Her passion for her work was evident to all who knew her. Chelsea's pride at earning her teaching certificate was only surpassed by the love she held for her students. She was a firm believer in the words of Henry Adams, "A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops." Chelsea embodied this quote, leaving a lasting impression on her students and shaping the future one class at a time.
Chelsea is survived by her precious son, Rylan Ashley, whom she loved more than life itself; her loving mother and step-father, Patti and Kevin Tiller; her dear sister, Courtney Castillo; and her caring grandmother, Carolyn Spillers. Chelsea was preceded in death by her father, Matthew Spillers. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and the countless students whose lives she touched.
