Jimmy A. Lopez, or as many loved to him Jimbo, Papa, My Love, or El Yimmy, has left on an eternal journey. Born on 10/07/1989 in Bellflower, CA, he was blessed with a loving family, a dedicated spirit, and an ambitious heart. He lived a life filled with laughter, love, and dedication to my family. My wife, Monica, my daughter Amelia, and my son Alexzander were my greatest treasures, and it was for them that I worked tirelessly as a quality inspector in the aerospace industry. My ambition led me from the streets of Bellflower to our home in Midlothian, Texas.
My life was never without joy or humor. I was known for my funny bone, and as an avid sports fan, I loved my Packers and Detroit Tigers and celebrated each victory with a cheer that could be heard across the neighborhood. My garage was a haven where I watched sports while nursing a cold drink, and a creative studio where I crafted custom T-shirts. My pride and joy were my children's and watching them on at their soccer games. When I wasn't cheering from the sidelines, I was coaching, nurturing the same dedication and ambition in them that I held in my heart.
Fighting this battle brought me closer to faith. I found solace in the words of the Bible, particularly in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." This verse guided me, providing a compass in life's ups and downs. Visitations will be held on Monday, 13 Oct 2025 at 6:00pmCDT, followed by a reading of the Holy Rosary at 7:00pmCDT at the Midlothian Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, 14 Oct 2025 at 2:00pmCDT at St. Joseph Catholic Church, followed by a graveside service at Mount Zion Cemetery at 3:00pmCDT.
I invite you all to remember me, Jimmy, not with sorrow but with joy, for I lived a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication. I ask that you celebrate my journey by sharing your memories, stories, and photographs on my memorial page. Your shared memories will serve as a testament to a life well-lived and loved.
