John Irby Crenshaw, a loving and supportive soul, was born on the 10th of February, 1940, in Dallas, TX, USA, and passed away on the 5th of October, 2025. A resident of Midlothian, TX, John led a life that was rich in experiences and relationships. He was married to his wife, Nancy Crenshaw, who along with their children and grandchildren, survive him. His parents, John Crenshaw Sr. and Sinabell Carter, and son, James Dee Crenshaw, preceded him in death.

John served his country in the Army and was a proud veteran of the Korean War. He spent over 30 years as a driver for Freight Line, from which he retired, leaving a legacy of dedication and hard work. In his free time, he was an avid player of dominos, enjoyed watching his favorite westerns, especially Lonesome Dove, and had a passion for classic cars, particularly his 1957 Chevy Bel Air. His love for country music was well-known among his friends and family. As a regular at the senior center, John was recognized for his supportive and generous nature.

John is survived by his wife, Nancy, sons John IV (Lisa), Jeff (Rhonda), grandchildren James, Kenneth (Karla), Rodney (Erica), Alex (Stacey), Ian, Tiffani, Jessica, 8 great grandchildren, sister Carolyn, and brother Will. We invite you to share your favorite memories and photographs of John on his memorial page, as we collectively remember and celebrate his wonderful life.
