Alliyah was born in Cordele, Georgia, to Wesley D. Crenshaw and the late Tiffany Dawn Bolton Crenshaw. She was a member of the Free Life Church of God in Cordele. A free spirited young lady, she enjoyed singing and was learning to play the guitar. She also had a love for hairstyling and makeup, embracing her "girly girl" personality. Known for her radiant smile, she brightened the lives of those around her.
Alliyah is survived by her father Wesley D. Crenshaw of Cordele, and her siblings Wesley T. Crenshaw, Gracelyn Crenshaw, and Mylan Crenshaw all of Atlanta. She also leaves her grandparents Lisa and James Kilgore of Cordele, Russ and Julie Story of Douglas, Patsy and Don Sutherland of Cordele, and Dan Crenshaw of Seville; and a niece Fallon Crenshaw.
