David Heltzel Obituary

David Wayne Heltzel, 52, of Martinsburg, WV., passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at his home. The funeral service will be held Monday, September 15 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Jerome. Pastor Sonya Williams-Giersch will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Heltzel was born July 2, 1973, in Oklahoma City, OK., son of Ralph and Judy Miller Heltzel. He was a 1992 graduate of Central High School and an Army Veteran. He was employed with DB Schenker in West Virginia.

Surviving, along with his parents, are his daughter Kaycee Stevens and grandchildren, Austin Shenk and Jayson Stevens all of Woodstock; sister, Crystal Wymer of Luray and brother, Warren Cooper of Woodstock.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 4109 Jerome Church Road, Edinburg, VA 22824 or a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be left at www.valleyfs.com
