David Hritz Obituary
Born in Phoenixville, he was the son of the late Albert Hritz and Veronica (Nasticky) Hritz.
Dave was a Mr. Fixit. He could make or fix just about anything. He renovated their bathroom and many other house projects. Dave attended the Academy of Aeronautics. He then went to Northrop University where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Aeronautics. He was on the Dean's List. Dave was a pilot and had a plane while he was in California. He enjoyed body surfing at the shore as well as surfing in California. He also loved cars. Dave was a great husband, father, and grandfather. He loved watching his grandchildren's sporting games and supporting their events.
Surviving along with his wife Mary of 31 years, is his son Tim Elmer, husband of Kyra; daughter Jill Ludy, wife of Bill; daughter Tracy Rutherford; brother Al Hritz, husband of Carole; 12 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
Services will be held privately by the family at this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in Dave's memory.

I was his roommate in Inglewood CA and flew with him from Santa Monica Airport to PA and NY round-trip in his airplane. Many great adventures with him! I just found out today (6-5-24) that he died and very sorry to hear that.

I use to love going up to his mom `s after mass at Sacred Heart. He had the best comic books.
