Share your Memorial with Family & FriendsDavid Hurford, 62, off Rockledge Florida went to be with our heavenly father on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, due to complications of cardiac arrest. He was born in Beckenham, England to Diane and Keith Hurford on October 22, 1962. David has a younger brother Michael, and 2 half-brothers, Stephen, and Andy. He was raised in England, and worked at the Timber Centre as a cabinet designer, and fitter for closets, as well as the Post Office. David always had a deep passion for the United States of America so at the age of 25 he decided to leave England and go to America to attend cinematography courses. There he met Michelle, and they had their son in 1993, who he loved so much and named him after his younger brother Michael. As time went on, life changed and David decided to continue to live in the place that he loved the most, Florida, which became his permanent home. He worked at Stonehenge where he met his best friend and roommate Dennis Hayes of 35 years. David also worked at Johnson Mechanical Services for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching football, cooking, and listening to music. He will be remembered by his kindness, generous heart, great sense of humor, the love for his family and friends, and being a hardworking man. I must say that David Hurford, our English matey has become one of our family members through these 35 years, and we are all heartbroken of his sudden passing but are so grateful and blessed for all the years we had, the great times, and the wonderful memories that we made. You will be missed by all who knows you for sure. A celebration of life will be held on October 18, 2025, at 2:00PM at the Rotary Park at Suntree, 6495 US1, Rockledge, Fl 32955.
