David, Sorry I ran across this so late. But If there ever was a man that taught me (second to my own father), it was you. I am so grateful that you saw something in me, to jump in and construct the Skywalk. This project is way more than a cornerstone in my career. The ongoing learning we had together is immeasurable. To this day, I have a Skywalk print in my office. Think about our paths crossing all the time. Wish we could have continued fulfilling the dream. So many plans. But THANK YOU for believing in me, and letting me share your vision!

Rest in peace David. You were a great visionary who embraced life to its fullest. You built the Skywalk, and now you've walked that bridge to the great beyond. May God be with your family as they mourn your passing.

My thoughts are with his families both at home and the Skywalk family. My three years as General Manager for the Skywalk were some of the best years of my life. David was a mentor, a teacher, a visionary and a dreamer. All things I admire in him and attempt to apply in my life because of him every day.

Thank you for your gift.
A Dream came true because of one mans vision. David Jin, his family and the Hualapai Leadership on the "First Walk" in 2007

Rest in Peace David Jin. David had amazing vision. I was lucky enough to be part of it. His wish was to make a difference and leave behind a Legacy. You did David and those of us that really knew you know what a great thing you did. The Skywalk was your gift to the world and you introduced the world to the Hualapai for generations to come. You did make a difference and all of us that knew you will continue to share and promote your vision. Thank you David for making a difference, you will be missed by many.

As owner of the construction company that built the Grand Canyon Skywalk & Visitor's Center, I have only good things to say about David Jin. He is, and probably will be, the only "true wealthy- in every way" individual I have ever met and had the extreme honor of working with to construct this one of a kind project. A true highlight I will ever have in my career. David taught me alot.........a very kind person that would actually listen to you and your ideas, upbeat and happy, when I knew all too well everyone was chomping at his heels. I had many, many meetings with him....talked about family's, people, personal lives, advice, when to do something and when not to. Valued him alot. He woudl always start off counterdicting a major problem calmly say "two things........",raise two fingers, but would have "one" thing to say (we got sidetracked a few times)
.......... I just wish our relationship would have lasted longer. Hope there is some peace to his family coming.........about all this. Should be resolved. What a nice memory that would be...............

David Jin was a longtime friend, he first captured my heart with that amazing smile that lite up a room, it was so contagious. He always knew the finest of luxuries & wanted everyone to share in his Love and Passion for Food Wine Life & his Dreams.. He was the ultimate Innovator, creating one of his ultimate dreams Skywalk. We were there when he came up with this breathtaking world wonder, all the talks all the business lunches that turned into dinners, his DREAMS were larger than life and now he has proven that, this Dream will be Eternal and he'll be remembered in History forever. I can not believe that you have lost your battle, you fought with all that you had, and how I wish you would have won, but I guess you now have bigger and better Dreams to fulfill in the next life.. I will always Remeber you David Jin... I'm so sad you are gone... You will never be forgotten...till we see you again one day and hear your contagious laugh... Love Lori Montoya

What a wonderful man Mr. David Jin was. I did not know him, never met him but to have such inspiration and determination to see his vision. A man who was not even born in America, a man who saw beauty beyond belief and did not let anything stop his dream, a remarkable man who wanted to give of his dream. I hope one day to be honored to walk the path he is so honored to be remembered for, to see the Grand Canyon through his eyes. Thank You Mr. David Jin. You were a Man or Men, A Man my deceased husband who dreamed and believed would have honored as I do.
