Shannon-David Jeremy Johnson, 34, passed away at his residence in Shannon on April 6, 2023. Jeremy was a lifelong resident of Shannon. He was a faithful member of Shannon Church of Jesus Christ. He was born in Lee County on August 11, 1988 to parents David Lynn Johnson and Barbara Johnson. He enjoyed music, going to church and he loved spending time with his family.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Shannon Church of Jesus Christ. Bro. Paul Beam and Bro. Mark Williams will be officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Nettleton will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his parents David and Barbara Johnson, two brothers, Jody Johnson (Lacey), Billy Earl Johnson (Ashley), one niece, Laila Stevens and one nephew, Corbin Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Pallbearers will be Andy Williams, Jordan Clemons, Brandon Parker, Gauge Garcia, Jonathan Teer and Ethan Bolen.
Visitation will be Saturday at the church two hours before service time from 12:00-2:00 pm.
