David "Dave" Johnston age, 78, of Green Bay, passed away March 31, 2025 passed away peacefully with his loving family surrounding him.
He was born April 2, 1946 in Green Bay, son of the late Eugene and Marilyn (Johnson) Johnston. David was a graduate of West High School. On September 6, 1969, he married his High School Sweetheart, Sharon DeNamur at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Green Bay. Sharon preceded him in death on December 19, 2019. He was a dedicated father and a Staff Sargeant in the Army Reserves, retiring on April 2, 2006. Dave loved Sherri's cooking, long bike rides in the country, hunting, and fishing, watching movies and going out to eat with the family.
Survivors include three daughters: Kelly Johnston, Jessie (Aaron) Rickert, Whitney Johnston; one son: Seth Johnston; five grandchildren: Caitlynn, Declan, Rowan, Aidan and Oliver Johnston; and one great-grandchild: Cameron Johnston.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday April 6, 2025 from 10:30 am until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:30 am at The Lyndahl Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, Green Bay. Dave's burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery, Green Bay.
