In Loving Memory of David Barry Kadar
June 19, 1952 – April 26, 2025
Age 72
With deep love and immense gratitude, we honor the life of David Barry Kadar, who passed away on the evening of April 26 at the age of 72. He was a devoted man of God, husband, father, brother, son, and friend.
Born and raised in Wheeling, West Virginia, David was a gentle but "free spirit," as described by his father, Kenneth Kadar. He was student government president of West Liberty State College, earned his MBA from Long Island University, hitchhiked on semi-trucks to see friends and attend sporting events, was a boxing promoter in the late 1970s, jumped into the Amazon River on a mission trip to Brazil, built and ran his own lead generation business for over two and a half decades, and nurtured a family of five in Olmsted Falls, Ohio.
He attended church twice a week, loved reading scripture, and led his life according to God's values. His heart was full of compassion, generosity, integrity, loyalty, and kindness.
David approached every day with optimism and savored the simple joys of life-listening to classical music, reading, going to the Cleveland Orchestra, Museum of Art, and Botanical Gardens, grabbing coffee with his daughter at Café Aroma-their favorite, seeing his son perform on stage, and spending quality time with friends and family. He will be missed immensely, and his legacy will be carried on in the hearts of everyone he touched.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Kadar; his children, Stormie Kadar, Quentin Worthy, and Ronnie Kadar; his brother, Al Kadar, and sister, Nancy Kadar; and many cherished extended family and friends.
A service honoring David's life will be held on Saturday, May 3 at 12 p.m. at Sunset Funeral (at the chapel), 6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070, with public viewing and visitation from 10 a.m.–12 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Lakota (Sioux) St. Joseph's Indian School and Compassion International in his honor.
