With heavy hearts, we announce the tragic passing of our beloved son, brother and friend, David Henry Keller, 31, of Beeville, Texas on December 30, 2024.
David was born September 7, 1993, in Beeville to Paula Terry Flores and David L. Keller and biological father, Ernest Loya. He attended A.C. Jones High School and was employed in the oilfield industry as a pipefitter. Known for his happy-go-lucky and positive attitude and spirit, David’s life was shaped by his deep connections with his family and friends. Throughout his life, David enjoyed the simple pleasures, especially spending time with his children and brothers. He also found joy cruising from town to town, fishing, cutting hair and socializing with his buddies with a cold beverage.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lupe and George Massey and Rachel and Henry Keller; Pops Edgar Watts; his grandfather, Paul Terry; and a brother, Johnathan Terry.
Leaving behind to cherish David’s memory are his mother, Paula Terry Flores; fathers, David L. Keller and Ruben Flores; his uncles, Leon Martinez and Ricky Keller; brothers, Ruben Flores Jr., Dylan Keller, Ryan and Blake Loya and Adrian Gonzales; sisters, Destiny Ann Sexton and Tori Keller; his children, Dominic and Landen Keller, Jason Lemus and Xzambria Keller; grandmother, Nancy Barrow; and aunt, Leeann Southmayd.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, January 9, at Angelus Funeral Home with the funeral service at 1 o’clock with Deacon Roger Rosenbaum officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore.
Pallbearers will be Leon Martinez, Dylan Keller, Adrian Gonzales, Ruben Flores Jr., John Cunnings, Blake Loya and Rylan Loya.
Honorary pallbearers will be John Garcia, Ruben Flores, Chase Flores and Derrick Montalvo.
