Mr. David Barry Kimble, age 72, of Roopville passed away August 30, 2025.

He was born September 14, 1952 in Coweta County to the late Bartow Kimble and Mary Jo Dingler Kimble.

He attended Glenloch Baptist Church and loved the Lord. He enjoyed studying the Bible and was known for quoting verses of scripture. He did his best to apply the message of the scriptures to his life every day. He liked to listen to Gospel music and could play the guitar.

He was self-employed as a carpenter in years past. He loved to apply his skills in his wood-working shop. Among the items he made were clocks, cedar chests, and music boxes. He also enjoyed gardening and working outdoors.

He was a loving father and grandfather to all of his children and grandchildren. He was known for being a jokester and having a sense of humor. He loved to kid around with his best friends.

Survivors include: four children: Lisa Kimble of Roopville, Ronald Kimble (Louisa) of Florida, Kimberly Davis (Jacob) of Roopville, and Kacey Bussey (Jeffrey Norton) of Roopville; ten grandchildren; a sister, Joan Kimble of Tennessee; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Jackson, and a brother, Danny Kimble.

A private celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
