William Smith Obituary

He was born July 8, 1933 in Jeff Davis County, GA to the late John Wallace Smith and Nina Iora Allen Smith. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jones Smith. He was a member of Welcome Methodist Church.
He served his country in the US Navy during the 1950's. He later worked many years as a dispatcher for Citgo Petroleum. He was a proud member of Panthersville Lodge #543 F. & A. M. for 50 years and was a Shriner.
In his spare time he loved to go hunting and fishing. However, the highlight of his week was spending time with "The Boys' Club" socializing with his best friends.
Survivors include: a son, Mike Smith of Roopville; a granddaughter, Crystal Smith; a brother, Glenn Smith of Merritt Island, FL; two nieces; and a number of other relatives and friends.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
