David "Robbie" King, of Athens, Tennessee, passed away on September 11, 2025, at Starr Regional Hospital.

Robbie was a man who deeply enjoyed the outdoors - hunting, fishing, and wheeling and dealing. He especially loved to talk with people and never met a stranger. He was a member of Bethsadia Baptist Church in Decatur, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Addie Marney King and John Robert King; his brother, John Wayne King of Decatur; and his grandson, Rylen Knirr.

Robbie is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth (Dylan) Eaton and Amber (Tyler) Roderick; granddaughters, Addison Eaton and Makenzie Roderick; grandson, Gunner Roderick; brother, Tim (Norma) King of Athens, TN; sisters, Faye Hicks and Kim King, both of Athens, TN; and sister-in-law, Debra King of Decatur, TN.

He is also survived by his nephews, Scott (Annie) King and their children-Aaron, Silas, and Caleb-of Riceville, TN, John (Carly) King of Athens, TN, and Justin King of Decatur, TN; Nieces, Heather (Mikel) Moses of Athens, TN, Shannon Anderson of Pigeon Forge, TN, and Jessica (Shane) Lowe of Decatur, TN.

Robbie will be lovingly remembered by special friends Penny Roderick and Jennifer Hodge, as well as many other cherished family members and friends.

In accordance with his wishes, Robbie will be cremated, and no services are planned at this time.
