David R. Konkol

David R. Konkol, age 21, of Strongsville, OH., passed away Wednesday April 13, 2022, at his residence in Greenville, SC. He was born in Volgograd, Russia on May 10, 2000, and adopted by Charles and Marianne (Stoeber) Konkol at the age of three.
David was a 2019 graduate of Strongsville High School. He worked as a forklift operator for DHL Transportation and spent much of his free time atthe UFC Gym in Greenville, SC. He was a gifted artist who had a passion to be a tattoo artist. David loved animals, especially his cat Moon and his dog Olive.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John J. Konkol and his maternal grandparents, Charles Stoeber and Sylvia Bixby, his aunt, Cindy Stoeber and his uncle, David Stoeber.
Survivors include his parents, Charles and Marianne (Stoeber) Konkol of Strongsville, his paternal grandmother Frances Konkol, uncle and aunt John and Mary Jo Curtin and cousins, John and Lauren Curtin all of Erie, and his girlfriend, Lexi Kilpatrick of Cleveland, OH.

Friends are invited to call at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th St. at Greengarden Blvd. in Erie Sunday May 1 from 3 until 7 p.m. and Monday at Our Lady of Peace Church, 2401 West 38th St. Erie, from 9 a.m. until time of the funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. The Mass can be viewed live at Our Lady of Peace Erie Youtube page.
