David Konop

David L. (Dave) Konop, age 68 of Francis Creek, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at the Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers.
Dave was born in Algoma on May 13, 1955 to Wencil and Beatrice (Kriescher) Konop. He was a 1973 graduate of Kewaunee High School.
Dave was a truck driver his entire life. He enjoyed fishing, camping, upholstering, and just tinkering around his garage. Dave also enjoyed spending time with his friends at the campground at Kelly Lake.
He is survived by his two daughters, Nicole Konop (special friend, Buddy Loucks) of Manitowoc, and Kristina Konop of Kewaunee; one grandchild, Bentley Konop; and Dave's special friend, Nancy Kucksdorf. He is further survived by two sisters: Shirley (Joe) Konop and Sandy (Pat) Huben; one brother, Jimmy (Wencil, Jr.) Konop; along with nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wencil and Beatrice Konop, and one sister, Judy Konop.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at the Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home, 344 S. State Street, Mishicot. Rev. Dave Pleier will preside at the service. Cremation has taken place.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home Thursday afternoon from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m.
