David was born June 18,2969 in Kirksville Missouri to David and Kathy Kropf. He is survived by his wife Terri (of the Home), daughter Mari (Chicago, Illinois), sons Neal (Ashland, Missouri), Jack (Auburn, Alabama), Otto (of the home), mother, Kathy (Moberly, Missouri), brother, sister-in-law and niece, Andy, Angie and Emily (Columbia, Missouri) and an uncle Bill Morgenstern. Preceded in death by David Kropf, grandparents Ray and Opal Kropf, Paul and Martha Morgenstern and Uncles Larry and Donnie Kropf.
He was a graduate of Moberly High School in 1987. He earned his BA in biology from Mizzou in 1991 where he continued and earned his MD with the distinction of Magnum Cum Laude and AOA in 1995; he then completed his Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Residency at University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2000.
He practiced in Saint Joseph, Missouri; Birmingham, Alabama; and Columbia, Missouri.
He was a loving and devoted husband and father. His passions were family, friends, music, comedy, and Disney.
He always felt honored by the family, friends, colleagues, and patients that blessed his life. He will be deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers memorials to the Moberly Area Community College or the Moberly High School Fine Arts Dept. would be appreciated.
Words of comfort and support were shared with the family at a visitation held at the Cater Funeral Home Chapel, followed by funeral services honoring and celebrating Dr. David's life.
