David Richard Kyzer

David Richard Kyzer, age 76, of Buhl, AL passed away February 10, 2024 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Friday, February 16, 2024 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel in Reform with Rev. Mike Hall and Rev. Glenn Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Graham Memorial Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Anna Laura Skelton and husband, Tom.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Janie Ruth Perrigin Kyzer; his daughter, Heather Kyzer; his two sisters; grandson, Eathen Kyzer; a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and cousins.
David was born January 24, 1948 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to the late Claudie Foster Kyzer and Dona Winters Kyzer. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and a retired construction contractor.
Pallbearers will be Tim Turner, Conner Olmstead, Eathen Kyzer, Allen Boone, Joshua Falls, Devan Fortenberry, Geoff Weems, Jason Jacobs and Bruce McAllister.
Honorary Pallbearers are Dr. Neil Shah, Dr. John P. Miller, Dr. Ann Lewis, Richard O'Briant, Dr. D. Berry, Amedisys Home Health Care and Aspire Rehab.
