David (Dave) Langill of Hingham passed away February 10, 2024, after a sudden and short battle with complications from a severe asthma attack, at the age of 45. Dave was born on October 29,1978. He graduated from Hingham high school with the class of 1997.
Dave loved the thrill of treasure hunting for vintage toys and collectibles. He would spend Sundays at the Raynham Flea Market with Lori in their booth, rehoming his treasures. Dave took great pleasure in connecting people with their childhood memories. Everyone who knew Dave, enjoyed his practical jokes, his heart and larger-than-life personality. Dave will be missed by all who knew him especially by his cats Spazz and Stormy with whom he had such a special bond.
Dave is survived by his parents Ed and Sherry Langill of Hingham, brothers Ted Langill of Weymouth, Jim Langill his wife Elizabeth of Hanson, sister CherylAnn McMorrow of Hingham, girlfriend Lori Corey of Hingham, nieces and nephews, Tyler Langlais his wife Caitlin, Amanda Quaglia her husband Nick, Patrick Schofield, his wife Brianna, Kathryn Langill, Nick Schofield, Ryan Langill, and Bailey Langill. Dave was predeceased by his brother-in-law Mike McMorrow and nephew Aron Langlais.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 4PM-7PM in the C.C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant Street, South Weymouth MA 02190. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation in the funeral home at 7PM. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, New England Foundation at https://asthmaandallergies.org/how-to-help/donate/
