David Gregory Lapierre II, age 27, passed away unexpectedly from a sudden illness Monday March 11, 2024 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green, KY.
The Hornell, New York native was the son of David Gregory Lapierre and Amy Sue Jackson Taborne, who survive. David was preceded in death by an uncle, Andre` Lapierre.
David was a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was a group leader at General Motors in Bowling Green. A native of New York, David was a huge New York Yankee and Buffalo Bills fan, he loved baseball, had a great sense of humor, loved his family dearly, and cherished his memories of time spent on Skaneateles Lake, fishing, and spending time at the family cabin.
In addition to his parents, Dave Lapierre (Shay), and Amy Taborne (Michael), he is survived by his companion, Kelly Hayes, his siblings, Melissa Murray, Ryan Murray, Kelvin Lapierre, Mitchell Lapierre, Jaclyn Lapierre, Gabriella Lapierre, and Olyvia Lapierre, and several step-siblings, one uncle Mark Jackson, grandmothers, Patricia Jackson, and Kathleen Lapierre.
Visitation will be Sunday March 17, 2024 from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM at the J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel. The family requested if you are a Bills or Yankee fan, please wear your favorite sports attire to the visitation.
