April 16th, 2025 at the age of 66David Bowen Lawrence, who passed away after a brief illness, was beloved by all who knew him. Born in Montclair, David spent his entire life in the area. He raised two beautiful children, Dylan and Julia, and had a close circle of lifelong friends. He was a basketball maven, an outdoorsman, and a lover of music, playing guitar with his friend Howard at many local venues. He loved trekking to Colorado to see his brother Bill's family, Maryland to see his sister Pam's family, and all over the states to see his extended family. Among those he is leaving behind is his all important family, including sister-in-law Denise, nephew Ryan, nieces Emily, Miranda, Fiona, and Isabel, great niece Hailey, and great nephews Dominic, Logan, Ezra, and Micael. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Appalachian Trail Conservancy would be appreciated. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by many.
