Abbeville, LA- Funeral services for David Lee, 57, who was called home to glory on Wednesday, December 12, 2025 will be Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Fields Funeral Home; 712 Center Street; New Iberia, LA. 70560. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM at the Fields Funeral Home until the time of services.
David Lee enjoyed life. He loved spending his past time fishing and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
David leaves to cherish his memories is his Companion:Darlene Lee of Abbeville, LA.; his daughter: Youlanda Lee of Abbeville, LA; two (2) sons: David Champagne of Abbeville, LA. and Lynn Champagne, Jr. of McComb, MS; his four (4) brothers: Robert Lee, Gregory (Cherie) Lee, both of New Iberia, LA., Michael (Dameka) Lee, of Parks, LA. and Marcus (Christy) Essex of California; his two (2) sisters: Brenda (Dwayne) Lewis and Fayetta Essex, both of New Iberia, LA.; six (6) grandchildren: Shelbia Mallery, Jr., Nevaeh Barnes, Blayd Champagne, Lynn Champagne, III, Glyn Champagne, and Ross Latulas; a host of great grandchildren; his two (2) Godchildren: Chardae Lee (Zachery) Alfred and Chardonnae' Lee (Dustin) Boutte, both of New Iberia, LA; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
David was preceded in death by his parents: Forest and Betty Brown Lee; his one (1) brother: Forest Lee, Jr.; his maternal grandparents: Avery Chatman and Florence Simon; and his paternal grandparents: Effrey Lee and Naomi Walker.
