Father of Tammie (David) Cooper, Wendy (Jim) Harris, Lawrence Kropp Jr, Laurie (Ron) Carnes, Kevin (Terry) Kropp, Brian Kropp and the late Sandra Leighton and David A Leighton III. Brother of the late Robert Leighton and Janice Massung. Also survived by 17 great children, 35 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Dave loved his dogs and enjoyed fishing, camping, going to the Moose, NASCAR, a cold Coors Light and was a member of the Wilson Legion.
Family and friends may call at the Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home, Inc. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY 14108 on Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 4-7pm. Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025 at 11am in North Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Newfane Rehab and Health or Niagara Hospice
