It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of David Arnum Lemon, on March 14, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on December 11, 1952, in Washington, IN, David is the son of William Arnum and Joan (Jones) Lemon. David lived a life full of adventure, hard work, and love. He married Cheryl Selby, and she survives.

David proudly served his country in the United States Army before embarking on a fulfilling career as a self-employed truck driver. Whether he was on the open road or at home, he pursued his passions with enthusiasm. David loved nothing more than hitting the drag racing tracks and enjoying the great outdoors while camping. However, the true joy in his life came from his family. He cherished his children and grandchildren, always making time for them and filling their lives with laughter and love.

David is survived by his wife Cheryl Lemon of Washington; his children, Christi Orman and her husband Scott of Washington, Lori Schultz and her husband Jeff of Vincennes, Dave Russell and his wife Angie of Washington, Brian Lemon of Washington, Gary Lemon and his wife Ashley of Evansville; his siblings, Alan Lemon and his wife Candy of Washington, Phillip Lemon of Washington, Roger Lemon and his wife Beverly of Washington, James Lemon of Alabama; seventeen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. David is preceded in death by his parents William and Joan Lemon and his brother Gary Lemon.

Friends and family will gather to celebrate David's extraordinary life on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, from 5-7 pm at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 2020 State St., Washington, IN.
