David Lowe Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Jakubs & Son Funeral Home on Dec. 20, 2025.
Memorial visitation will be Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 2:00 until 5:00 PM at the Jakubs & Son Funeral Home. 936 E. 185th Street Cleveland. Burial will be private.
Dave was born on September 12, 1952, in Deep River Ontario, Canada and passed away on December 10, 2025.
Dave's greatest joy in life was his family. He loved his children and grandchildren more deeply than words could ever capture, and he carried that love with him in everything he did. No matter what challenges he faced, talking about his kids and grandkids was the highlight of his days. Dave spoke of them with pride, tenderness, and a smile that could soften even the hardest moments.
Dave was always there to lend a helping hand, never hesitating to make time for others and go out of his way to help in any way he could. His generosity was quiet but constant, given freely and without expectation.
He had a special bond with animals, the kind of quiet understanding that couldn't be taught. Dave always had pets by his side, and he never turned away a stray in need. His home, and his heart, were places where every creature found welcome – especially Noki and Callie who never left his side when he was at home.
He had a deep love for the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and he cherished the time spent passing those traditions on to his children while creating lasting memories together.
Though his last years brought significant health struggles, Dave never let them dim his spirit. Time with his family remained his greatest medicine, and he cherished every visit, every call, every laugh shared with those he loved most.
In the moments he carved out for himself, Dave found comfort in simple pleasures: listening to live music, enjoying a cold beer with friends, and soaking in the easy camaraderie of good company. These moments reflected the joy he carried within him; steady, humble, and genuine.
Dave leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and quiet kindness. He will be remembered not only for the life he lived, but for the way he made others feel; valued, supported and deeply loved.
Dave leaves behind his beloved wife Christine Lowe (nee Salopek); loving children Patrick James, Scott Andrew (Brooke) and Lisa Anne, stepdaughter: Jessica McCartney (Ryan); cherished grandchildren Amelia, Daniela, Rocco, Owen, Deagan and Lennie; proud brother of June Lowe, John Lowe, Peter Lowe and Betty Lowe.
